We went to a real fun birthday party for my friend's daughter today.  Rachel was sleeping when we arrived, so my hubby volunteered to stay in the car until she woke up.  We could only stay for about an hour and a half anyway because we had plans for a dinner party on the other side of Denver.  For the birthday party, they did a great job decorating and had a lot of different types of food...and of course rice.  Most of the food was Filipino, but they had some American food there too.  The food was so good, I couldn't quite eat everything I wanted to try.  There was a real good turnout for the party and everyone looked like they were having a lot of fun.  I wanted to stay longer to visit and eat a little more, but my hubby came in and said Rachel woke up and we had to get going to drive to the other party.  We were so short on time, I didn't even pack up and take home any of the extra food.  I'm glad the host understood we couldn't stay as long as we wanted too.   It was a great party even though we couldn't stay longer.

We had to move a little over a year ago and we hired one of the local moving companies.   Because it was the first time we ever paid for movers, we were slightly ignorant on what to ask and what to look for when it came to hiring a mover.  We may have to move again in the next couple of months, so I needed some help finding a better mover than we had last time. 

 

The movers we had damaged some items that we didn't notice until after their deadline had passed to report any damage which was only 3 days after the move.  After doing some research, I found a really great website that let me compare quotes from multiple licensed movers in my area.  They have a good amount of movers to compare for local and long distance movers. Before you move it's definitely worth the couple of minutes it takes to request and compare the quotes and get information on possible movers to hire.
