Rachel does things all the time that surprise us.  When her Tiger & Pooh cartoon is usually over, she cries to let us know it's over so we start another one or give her something else to do.  But, today when the cartoon ended, she grabbed the remote control for the TV, aimed it at the TV and started pushing buttons.  She was doing the same thing she saw us do to get her cartoon started.  We were very surprised and we were laughing because that seemed pretty smart for a 13 month old child to figure that out by just watching us.  Then, when she couldn't get her cartoon started on her own, she gave me the remote control to do it for her.  She's really funny and learns things so fast it's truly amazing. 

We are suppose to have really nice weather this weekend.  The forecast is for temps to be in the mid 60s and sunny.  So, we were thinking where would be a fun place to go and be outside to enjoy the beautiful weather.  Finally, we decided to go to the Denver Zoo.  Rachel is a little young to really understand, but we think she will still be interested in some of the animals we will see there.  Plus, we should be able to get some great pictures and video when we are there.  We will pack a lunch for all of us and have a picnic during our visit at the zoo.  It should be a lot of fun, I'm real excited to go and see all the animals.
